COVID-19 Guidance

WVDE provides up-to-date guidance regarding the response to COVID-19 in West Virginia's schools and where resources can be accessed.

NASP  has guidance documents on: talking to children about COVID-19, action steps for school crisis response teams, and countering stigma and racism surrounding COVID-19

In addition, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention offer guidance on preparing our homes and families for COVID-19.

Social justice is a strategic goal in WVSPA's strategic plan, and one that we are committed to in furthering education, using our voices to address systemic discriminatory practices, and to align ourselves with best practices for our students.

Visit WVSPA's Social Justice page for resources, lesson plans, hotlines, and to connect with others.
